“It just seems like home going back out there,” AHS boys track and cross country coach Randy Martin said of Monday’s realignment announcement, which grouped Abilene High and Cooper with Midland High, Midland Lee, Odessa High and Odessa Permian. The district will include San Angelo Central for basketball, and it is expected Central will also be included for other sports once those alignments are released later this spring.

Going for Gold

Like the championship, they have to earn it.
