GOFRIDAYNIGHT.COM PICK'EM CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
1. Eligibility: No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry and a resident of Texas. Employees, agents and/or independent contractors of the E.W. Scripps Company d/b/a Abilene Reporter-News and ReporterNews.com ("Sponsors") and their immediate families are not eligible.
2. Contest begins at 5 p.m. CT Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, and ends at 6:00 a.m. CT Thursday, November 12, 2009 ("Contest Period"). One entry per email address for each week.
3. How to Play: During the Contest Period, log on to www.gofridaynight.com and fill out the Official Online Entry Blank. To be eligible for weekly contests, entries must be received between noon CT Mondays and noon CT Thursdays preceding the high school football games in that Weekly Contest Period. All eligible entries must contain the participant's guess for the winners of the applicable week's football games, found on the Official Entry Blank. To submit entry, click the "Send Picks" button at the bottom of the entry blank after filling out a contestant profile. Non-Winning Weekly entries will not be eligible for subsequent weekly contests. Limit one entry regardless of method of entry per person per week. No facsimiles or reproductions of Official Entry Blank allowed.
4. How to Win: There will be twelve (12) weekly contests during the Contest Period. Three Weekly Winners (36 throughout the Contest Period) will be chosen from all eligible entries received during the applicable Weekly Contest Period that select the most winners of the games on the contest entry form. If there are more than three entries each week with the highest number of correct scores, the three winners will be chosen at random. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during Weekly Contest Period.
5. Prizes: Weekly Winners: Thirty-six (36) Weekly Winners (three per week during Contest Period) each will receive a T-shirt with an A.R.V. of $15 or less. First place gets a GoFridayNight.com T-shirt, and places 2nd and 3rd receive "I'm Digitally Enhanced" T-shirt.
NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by e-mail and may be required to complete and return, within 14 days of notification, the affidavit of eligibility and liability and, where legal, a publicity release. Failure to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and release within 14 days of receipt will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor will award it to an alternate winner chosen by random drawing. By entering the Contest, all winners agree to waive any and all claims against Sponsors, their parent corporations, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or representatives for any and all personal injury, death, loss, injury, damages, claims, causes of actions, demands, or liabilities that may occur from the participation in this contest or from the receipt or use of any prize, and grant to the Sponsors the right to publicize, if permitted by law, such winner's name/likeness and entry materials, including winning entry, in any editorial content, public relations materials, promotional or advertising on behalf of sponsors without additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law. (You know you can't require the winner to grant you publicity rights as a condition of receiving the prize.) Winners agree to assign all right, title and interest, including copyright rights, to winning entry to sponsors without any additional consideration. All prize claims are subject to validation by Sponsors, whose decisions are final. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner(s).
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsors, their parent corporation, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or representatives are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; stolen, late, lost, garbled, delayed, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, postage due or illegible entries. Sponsors, their parent corporation, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, or any telephone network or Internet service providers are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss of entry information for any reason whatsoever. If, in the Sponsors exclusive judgment, this Sweepstakes becomes compromised in any way, Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw the Sweepstakes offer, cancel any method of entry, void any entries submitted fraudulently, or select winners from all eligible entries received prior to the act that compromised the Sweepstakes. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its agents.In case of multiple entries, only the first entry received will be considered. In the event of dispute, electronic entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address at the time of the sweepstakes. The authorized account holder is the person to whom the applicable internet service provider or other organization (such as business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail address.
